Services

I offer compassionate, force-free dog training and behavior support designed for real families in Los Angeles and beyond. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, confident, and happy so your whole household can enjoy more peace and connection.

Whether you’re navigating separation anxiety, dog + kid dynamics, reactivity, puppy manners, or just want practical tools that actually work, I’m here to meet you where you are — no judgment, just kind, science-based guidance.

How We Work Together

I want the path forward to feel clear, supportive, and tailored to your family from the very first step. Here’s how most clients move through our work together:

  1. Ask Me Anything Consult → Book
    30 minutes • $55 • Virtual
A relaxed, low-pressure call to share what’s going on, ask any questions, and decide if we’re a good fit.

  2. Initial Consult → Book
    90 minutes • $285 • In-person in Los Angeles or virtual
This longer first session gives us time for a thorough assessment of your dog’s behavior and your household goals. You’ll leave with a clear, customized plan you can start using right away.

  3. Choose your next path

    • For general training needs (manners, reactivity, dog + kid dynamics, etc.): Continue with Follow-up Sessions ($210 each) or purchase a 4- or 8-session package for better value.

    • For separation anxiety: Move into the dedicated Separation Anxiety 4-Week Package ($930). The full $285 Initial Consult fee will be credited toward the package price.

From there, we work at a pace that fits your life and your dog’s needs — always with plenty of support, feedback, and encouragement along the way. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe and confident so your whole household can enjoy more peace and connection.

Service Area & Travel

I offer in-person sessions primarily in Northeast Los Angeles (Highland Park, Eagle Rock, Pasadena, and surrounding neighborhoods). Travel is generally limited to approximately 30 minutes from Highland Park.

If you’re outside this radius, I’m happy to offer virtual sessions instead. When you book, the intake form will ask for your preference — feel free to select “No preference” and I’ll recommend the best option based on your location and your dog’s needs.

Separation Anxiety Package

4-Week Program • $930 • All Sessions Virtual

Over 4 weeks, we’ll gently and systematically help your dog learn to feel safe and relaxed when left alone. Separation anxiety is a panic disorder that responds best to a structured, consistent protocol, and I’m here to guide you through every step.

I am a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). I’ve also lived this myself: I used this exact protocol with our rescue dog Trixie when we brought home our toddler Wren. Watching her transform taught me how powerful the right support can be for both dogs and the humans who love them.

What You’ll Get

  • A clear plan to ensure your dog is never left alone outside of planned training sessions (this is the most important rule to protect your dog’s progress). Many clients use doggy daycare, friends, or family to help with coverage during this time.

  • 1 live weekly virtual assessment with me each week.

  • Custom daily Missions (4 times per week) — short, specific training exercises I design based on your dog’s behavior

  • Daily feedback on your notes and video clips — I review what your dog does during each Mission and adjust the next one accordingly

  • Unlimited email and text support throughout the 4 weeks

Important note about the Initial Consult
Because separation anxiety training is intensive and highly customized, I strongly recommend starting with the 90-minute Initial Consult ($285). This longer first session gives us time for a thorough evaluation. If you decide to move forward with the Separation Anxiety Package, the $285 fee will be fully credited toward the $930 package price.

All payments for the Separation Anxiety Package are final and non-refundable, as the program requires full commitment to be successful.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How many sessions you’ll need depends on your goals and what you’re able to practice between sessions. I offer extra support in between sessions if you want it.

For fearful dogs, it takes time to build trust and confidence. I know we make progress going at the dog’s pace. I believe in celebrating your wins along the way.

I cannot ethically promise results. I can relate to the stress of not knowing how long it may take or how much progress is possible. I do promise to honor your goals and the resources you invest in training.

  • Force-free training means I only use kind, effective methods with your dog like treats, play, praise, and listening and responding to cues.

I never use fear, pain, shock collars, prong collars, or any kind of force. This is the most humane and scientifically proven approach to helping dogs feel safe, confident, and happy.

  • I’m deeply passionate about helping clients with foster dogs and dogs adopted from a rescue or shelter. Please mention it during your Ask Me Anything Consult or Initial Session and I just may have a gift for you :)

  • The Ask Me Anything Consult (30 minutes • $50, virtual) is a short, focused call for specific questions or to see if we’re a good fit.

The Initial Consult (90 minutes • $275) is a longer, in-depth first session where we do a thorough behavior assessment and create a customized plan for your dog and family.

  • The Separation Anxiety Package is a dedicated 4-week intensive program ($900). It includes custom daily Missions, weekly live assessments, and daily feedback. Because this work is highly structured and requires a strong foundation, I recommend starting with the Initial Consult / Assessment. The $275 fee is fully credited toward the package if you decide to move forward.

  • Yes — for general training needs (manners, reactivity, dog + kid dynamics, etc.), you can absolutely book sessions at your own pace. The 4- and 8-session packages are flexible with no strict timeline.

The Separation Anxiety Package is different. Because it follows a specific, intensive protocol, it is best completed over consecutive 4 weeks to protect your dog’s progress and get the best results.

  • The Initial Consult / Assessment, Follow-up Sessions, and packages are available both in-person (Los Angeles area) and virtually. The Ask Me Anything Consult and Separation Anxiety Package are virtual only.

  • Virtual training can actually be more effective than in-person sessions for certain situations.

For example, with separation anxiety, having a trainer present in the home can signal to the dog that the humans are not actually leaving. This makes the training less realistic and slows down progress. Virtual sessions allow us to focus purely on teaching your dog to be comfortable when no one is home.

Similarly, some dogs who are more reactive or fearful may find the presence of a new person (the trainer) triggering or distracting. In these cases, virtual training removes that extra variable, allowing the dog to make faster and more consistent progress in a calmer environment.

For many other behavior issues, in-person sessions work wonderfully. I’m happy to recommend the best format based on your dog’s specific needs during the Initial Consult.

  • That’s very common! I work with the whole picture, not just one problem. We’ll create a plan that addresses everything going on in your household so you can have real peace and connection at home.

  • I’m happy to help. Book an Ask Me Anything Consult or reach out directly — I’m here to support you and your dog.
